Welcome to another productive week - well, Bluegrass Medallions is definitely working hard towards the Opening Ceremonies of the World Equestrian Games. We have been expanding into the media daily and have broadened from newspaper, to social media, and now.. television!

ABC News has been a wonderful home for Bluegrass Medallions and we will soon be having a SPECIAL edition on their morning show in Lexington, KY. If you are a local to the area, please stay tuned – there may be a chance to participate and WIN some great gifts.

Summer is in full swing in the Bluegrass of Kentucky. While the seasons are different all over the world – summertime brings happiness, fun, events, and more – no matter where you are!

The week is over and the fireworks are only hours away – Happy Long Weekend! Here we are celebrating our appreciation for the Red, White.. and Bluegrass, of course!

Happy Birthday America! What are you….oh…. wow….234 years old? And not a wrinkle! That is amazing! You’re stronger than ever and growing with a beautiful collection of friends at your side. May the sun shine and the fireworks be plenty. =0)

What do you want to do on the 4th of July every year? I can probably hit the nail on the head with food, fun, friends, and FESTIVALS. This week has been HUGE – so much has happened and so much more is to come. These Blue Eyes in the Bluegrass is not about to miss any of the Kentucky fun as we ride with pride to September 25th – the Opening Ceremonies! The 100 Day Countdown Celebration for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games was held in Downtown Lexington next to the beautiful Lexington History Museum.

From Bourbon to Penguins – this event had it all!

There was so much to do that gave our fans and enthusiasts a taste of what we will see, hear, and taste at the Games. There was a fantastic band with an Ariat fashion show! Corvettes, FREE Dip n Dots, and much more! Enjoy the fun:

Wonderful Webathon! Our Para-Olympians Are Shining!

Good day to all! Hope you are enjoying your week and getting everything you planned sealed and stamped. It’s quite a busy life we have here! Do you sometimes wish you could give back, only to fall into the pit of “I’m just so busy” categories? Well, no more! Let’s get ACTIVE and help out great people who are striving for their dreams.

I was lucky enough to work with the First-Ever Para-Webathon with Horse Radio Network and Alltech in Kentucky. These Para-Olympians will be sharing their hard efforts and talent in the Para-Dressage event of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The US is the first to have this discipline in World Equestrian Games history! Unfortunately, with Olympic events comes costly adventures. These disabled, yet athletic and successful (and super fun) athletes are in need of funding in order to make it to the Games. Want to WATCH ?

We held this event right at the Alltech Studios in Nicholasville, KY. The bustling phone lines, the TV camera, live feed online, and friendly faces of top equestrians and participants made this the hottest event around! We had a blast from 7-9pm and raised… you won’t believe it…. nearly $10,000! We are so proud of the contributions, but we are still accepting donations now. Please give us a helping hand to support our athletes and hooved friends!

Bluegrass Medallions was so proud to be a part of this event and see the participation of our equine fans nationwide.
